Eugenia Lee – Surgical Operations
Eugenia Lee is a Perioperative Reprocessing Educator for Cleveland Clinic main campus. Prior to becoming an educator, she worked in the Sterile Processing Department (SPD) for 49 years. Eugenia started her career at Cleveland Clinic main campus on May 24th, 1971. She worked her way up from Coordinator to Assistant Manager. She received her BA degree in Psychology with a minor in education from Cleveland State University. In 1994 she received an MBA degree from Lake Erie College in Painesville. After 34 years of moving up the ladder in the SPD department she went back to school. She attended the Huron School of Nursing and became a
registered nurse in 2005. Eugenia, along with the other reprocessing educators, is responsible for on boarding new caregivers for the Sterile Processing Departments in Cleveland Clinic Health System. They are also responsible for yearly competencies for Sterile Processing Techs, Scrub Techs, Medical Assistants and Nurses who handle instruments and scopes. She has been a mentor and resource person for some of the Cleveland School programs such as CEVEC, True-2-U, Y.O.U.T.H, Louis Stokes programs and the TRI C Sterile Processing Tech program. She has been a member of the Diversity and Inclusion board. Eugenia volunteers every Saturday at the Thea Bowman Hunger Center. She is an active member of Our Lady of Peace church. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her daughter and her grandson who is a Physician Assistant.
