The history of the Western Reserve (OH) Chapter, The Links, Incorporated, began with conversations among groups of friends in the living room of the home of Link Margot James Copeland, a member of the Cleveland (OH) Chapter. Link Margot, who would become the 15th National President of The Links, Incorporated, helped pave the way for the new chapter in
Gloria Pace King First President
Northeast Ohio, which would have boundaries designated as the Greater Metropolitan area. Twenty-three women formed the core group. Gloria Pace King was the president of this interest group and was elected the first president of the Western Reserve (OH) Chapter. The chapter’s initial activities were designed to create and strengthen the bonds of friendship among the members.
